Nyquist was a champion at two and winner of the Kentucky Derby (G1) before developing into an elite stallion. He has already sired 43 black-type winners and four champions, with a roster of top runners including Nysos, Immersive, Vequist, and Randomized.

There is plenty to like close up in the female family. His dam, Factorofwon, was a stakes winner who earned nearly $200,000, and she has already produced Light Won Up, a stakes winner at two and three who also finished second in the Senorita Stakes (G3). That gives this colt a stakes-winning dam who has already produced a stakes winner from her first two starters.

The mating earned an A+ TrueNicks rating, adding another positive to a pedigree that already combines proven sire power with strong production on the female side.

He will be trained by Cherie DeVaux, whose program continues to operate at the highest level, headlined by Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Golden Tempo, Breeders’ Cup winner More Than Looks, and top sprinter Englishman, along with outstanding fillies including West Point’s Vahva and champion She Feels Pretty.
