Arnaud Delacour has proven himself to be a shrewd conditioner based at Fair Hill Training Center in Maryland. His best horse to date has been A.P. Indian, a multiple Grade 1-winning sprinter. In 2023, his French import Chez Pierre scored an upset triumph in the Grade 1 Maker’s Mark Mile at Keeneland over Breeders’ Cup champion Modern Games.

A native of Normandy, France, Delacour was an assistant for Alain de Royer-Dupre before joining Christophe Clement’s operation for seven years. He works closely with his wife, Leigh Delacour. Leigh holds a trainer’s license herself and worked for Graham Motion for about a decade.
