Dr. Barry Eisaman is West Point’s go-to trainer for young horses learning to become racehorses, overseeing the bulk of each crop of newcomers.

Dr. Eisaman and his wife, Shari, have been operating their 420-acre farm in Williston, Florida, for more than 30 years. Graduates of their breaking and early training program have gone on to win many of the most prestigious races in North America, including all three Triple Crown races as well as two winners of the Kentucky Oaks.

Dr. Eisaman received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and practiced at the racetrack in South Florida before launching the farm just north of Ocala.
